KIA ORA. HELLO.

I’m Kayleigh Wang.

Nice to meet you.

Born in Toronto but raised in Michigan, I was shaped by the grit of the Midwest's unforgiving winters, the warmth of its hospitality, and an unshakable love for the crunch of deep-fried pickles (dipped in ranch of course).

After graduating from Michigan State University, with a degree in both Social Work and Human Resource Management, I took a year to explore Australia as an Au Pair before returning to Detroit and joining the workforce as an HR generalist at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). The high-pressure world of manufacturing quickly turned me into a confident HR generalist supporting a $1.5 billion transformation. Following, the launch of the new assembly plant I left the USA for greener pastures (literally) and moved to New Zealand.

I found myself working in recruitment before I discovered the wonderful, complex world of organisational development. With a passion for creating impactful employee experiences that drive better business outcomes, my human-centered approach and insatiable curiosity have helped me become a confident and knowledgeable professional.

Whether I’m exploring new culinary delights or binge-watching the latest reality TV craze, I approach life and work with a sense of curiosity and excitement that infuse everything I do. I bring a diverse perspective and a love of adventure to my work, embracing new ideas and ways of working, adapting to change and embracing ambiguity.

With a keen eye for design and a strategic mindset, Kayleigh’s superpower lies in identifying the right problems and building bridges to foster collaboration to solve them effectively.
